CHRIS PICCO
Singer-songwriter, Chris Picco has recently returned to his hometown of St.
John's after several years establishing himself on the Toronto music scene. 2005
saw the release of his MusicNL nominated album, 'The Passenger', an impressive
debut that gave Picco the opportunity to share the stage with such songwriting
greats as Bob Snider, Kyp Harness and Ron Sexsmith.
Since his return, Picco has teamed up with producer Mark Neary (The Novaks) to record his follow-up album "Ferris Wheel'. Featuring a unique songwriting talent with a focus on imaginative rhyme and verse, the songs are matched perfectly with a new sophisticated sound. Released this past winter and featuring a wide array of local talent, 'Ferris Wheel' proves Picco has headed into a bold new direction.
