Volunteers

photo by Rick WestThank you so much to the record number of people who signed up to volunteer at the 35th Annual Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival! Thank you to all our returning volunteer and welcome to all our new volunteers.

Registration for volunteering is now complete and all volunteers who have been assigned shifts and who have been wait-listed have been contacted. Volunteer applications received now will be added to our wait-list and people will be contacted if volunteer shifts become available.

We are thrilled with the level of interest in volunteering at this year's festival that so many of you demonstrated - thank you. We look forward to meeting so many new volunteers and hope to be able to welcome even more new faces as volunteers at next year's festival!

There are other volunteer opportunities with the Folk Arts Society available throughout the year including Folk Night every Wednesday night at the Ship Pub and the Annual Wassail at Christmas time. Please contact the Folk Arts Society at office@nlfolk.com if you are interested in these other opportunities.

Thank you so much to everyone who signed up to volunteer at the 35th Annual Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival! We look forward to seeing you all as either volunteers or festival attendees in Bannerman Park.

Not sure if you have been assigned shifts? Confused about your responsibilities at the festival as volunteer? Wondering if you are on the wait-list? Check your e-mail or call Charlotte-Anne at 576-8508.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival wouldn't be possible without our fantastic volunteers! To help us thank them, some local companies and organizations donated items for our volunteer kits. The Folk Arts Society would like to express it's sincere thanks to Dicks and Company Basics, Long & Mcquade and Canadian Cancer Society.
