Born and raised in the South of Ireland, Chris Hennessy worked for several years as an electrician to fund his musical ambitions. Eventually his talents were recognized and he became a member of the Sons Of Erin whose album of folk songs made them popular in both Ireland and Newfoundland. This gave Chris an opportunity to tour his native country as well as Canada which led him to produce his own album, Ballad Of A Sad Café. Later moving to Newfoundland, he settled into his career of playing, singing, song writing and producing music.
