Hailing from the resettled Placentia Bay communities of Great Paradise and Harbour Buffett, Pat & Joe Byrne and Baxter Wareham have spent their lives singing the songs and telling the stories of the places and people of Newfoundland and Labrador. The three came together in 1983 to record Towards The Sunset, a landmark album in the folk music revival in Newfoundland. Songs like, The Government Game, The Rocks of Merasheen and Rubber Boots have become hallmarks in the local tradition. We are proud to present these fine gentlemen on the same stage for the first time in many years.
