The 30th Annual Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival was held August 4, 5 and 6, 2006 at Bannerman Park in downtown St. John's. July 30th to August 6th 2006 as was the St. John’s Folk Arts Council Come-Home-Week. SJFAC President Dave Penny's festival message is found here.  This year's festival was dedicated to the memory of Mary Power, Steve Woodcock and Becky Bennett.  Congratulations to all festival organizers, volunteers and performers and many thanks to our sponsors and great audiences for your support.  See you back in Bannerman Park in 2007 !
