Children's Printmaking and Stitchery

Saturday, August 6th, 10:00 - 11:30 am

Children will have fun and create their own designs as they explore with printmaking and stitchery techniques. This hands-on workshop is suitable for kids ages 7 & up. Parents are welcome too! (Maximum 20 participants).

The Anna Templeton Centre for Craft, Art and Design is a not-for-profit, charitable centre dedicated to craft and arts training in the province. A wide range of workshops and classes are offered to adults and children including crochet, weaving, knitting, tatting, felting, drawing, painting, sewing, art explorers, drama and much more! Classes are offered at 278 Duckworth Street and through outreach to schools and community groups. In addition to public arts education programs, the Centre is home to Textile Studies, a two-year diploma program of College of the North Atlantic.

The ATC is housed in the original British Bank of North America building, constructed in 1849 and designated a National Historic Site. The public is welcome to drop by, tour the building and learn more about the Centre’s programs. For more information, call 739-7623.
