CRAFTS

Craftspersons, all juried members of the Craft Council, are given spaces to create and display crafts in the Merchandising Tent or the Instruments Tent (Saturday and Sunday afternoons only).  Enjoy meeting these talented people and viewing their displays.

Naturally Hand Dyed by Susan Furneaux
Susan uses natural dyes and nontoxic mordants to produce a beautiful array of colour and texture on cloth using traditional dye techniques. She transforms these fabrics with hand stitching into a stunning variety of art for home, body and spirit! (web site)

Little Boots – Janet Peter
Janet Peter lives and works in St. John’s. She has been working with papier mache for about 7 years. Best known around here for her mummers and vases, Janet makes a wide variety of colourful pieces in papier mache.

Traditional Mat Hooking – Joan Foster
Joan Foster designs, hooks and sells floor mats, wall hangings, chair pads, and coasters featuring traditional Newfoundland patterns and themes.

Elfshot – Tim Rast

Twisted Metal Creations – Jason Holley
Jason will be demonstrating how to make Chainmaille. A new experience!

Shamrock Pottery – Peter & Mary Sobol
