Vince & Glen Collins & Rick West
Vince Collins learned tunes from his parents in the parlour and is well known as an accordion player at numerous parties in communities around St. Anne's, Placentia Bay. He bought his first accordion at O'Brien's Music Store in 1956, and played it all the way back home aboard the "The Newfoundland Express" . He is still using the same accordion to play an extensive repertoire of singles, doubles, step tunes and waltzes. In 2002, he realized a lifelong dream by recording his first CD, entitled Lifting Out the Stove, featuring many of the old Placentia Bay dance tunes, his own composition and father's favourite, Vince's Triple, and reminiscences of his days playing for dances. Vince is backed up by his son, Glen (guitar) and Rick West (bodhran). (Vince's website)

Dermot O'Reilly
Dermot attracted a large following as a member of the wildly popular RYAN'S FANCY in the 1970s and with band members Fergus O'Byrne and Denis Ryan received the 2004 ECMA Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award. After RYAN'S FANCY disbanded in 1983, he developed an audiovisual production about art and music from the Renaissance, The Rosetta Road Show, for presentation to high school students. Through his company Piperstock Productions Ltd he has produced industrial and public service videos and a number of musical documentaries, two of which Rigs, Jigs And Songs From The Heart and Cain's Legacy are currently in distribution as videocassettes. Dermot set up a sound recording facility in 1993 to produce and release recordings by local artists and to date, 30 CDs have been produced. His own CD is due for release in the fall of 2005, and he continues to develop ideas for audio and video production. Great vocals, wonderful songs including some fine original pieces like West Country Lady, tasty guitar and a seasoned audience rapport make Dermot one of Newfoundland's most loved performers at clubs, festivals and in concert.
