Our members have been active; as editor, I try to keep myself informed of the activities of the membership. Recently, I was made aware that Rob Brown, along with Gerry Strong, Kelly Russell, George Morgan and Dave Panting provided music for Gerry Roger's film, My Left Breast, which was featured on October 22nd at the St. John's International Women's Film and Video Festival. Rob said it was both an honour and a pleasure to work on the project with Gerry. The diverse involvements of musicians here in St. John's is evident everywhere we turn.

Thanks to those who contributed articles for publication. In this issue, we present a wide variety of experiences and viewpoints for your consumption. Also in this issue, my aforementioned penchant for dancing has been acknowledged, thanks to Linda Russell.
